Manish is responsible for global R&D Ingredion. As a 29-year industry veteran, he possesses broad and deep knowledge of starch-based products for Food and Industrial uses. He and his team are quickly pivoting to build similar capabilities in plant-based protein space.

Manish began his career as a process development engineer supporting new product development. He then spent four years supporting the manufacturing function and driving productivity from key assets. While R&D management has been his core responsibility, he took on assignments such as product line management and toller network management along the way. He has been instrumental in driving best practices in innovation governance over the years.

Manish has proven himself to be a result-oriented leader, delivering tangible successes from R&D by adapting quickly to ever shifting innovation and corporate priorities. He cares deeply for his people and constantly looks for their growth opportunities.

Manish completed his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in India. He then completed a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from University of Toledo and MBA in Finance from Kelley School of Business (IU).
